Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installation

Kitchen Equipment Installation day for Mochilero Kitchen in Phoenix, opening March 23rd. We worked with Executive Chef Justin Banauch to install all the new equipment on his cookline – two fryers, a flat top, an oven/broiler combo and two coolers. We’ll return in two weeks to make final connections for gas and calibration.

Having a professional team install your commercial kitchen equipment is essential. Whether you need multiple pieces of new equipment installed or just an install of a replacement unit, our technicians at Alpha & Omega Restaurant Equipment Repair specialize in nearly every refrigeration and cooking equipment manufacturer on the market. Multiple pre-install site surveys are conducted before work begins so that we understand your operational goals and identify the best strategy to meet those goals. After installation is complete, all utility connections are made, and manufacturer start-ups fulfilled to confirm equipment is properly functioning to manufacturer’s specifications.

In addition, we offer planned maintenance programs to support you long after the installation is completed that can extend your equipment’s lifespan and lower your chances of experiencing sudden equipment failure. Our process is the key to your success.

AZ Monsoon Season is A/C’s Biggest Enemy

Arizona’s monsoon season: stifling humidity, high winds, rolling walls of dust and pouring rain all within a matter of hours. For weather watchers, it’s the most exciting time of the year. Interesting recorded facts show that lightning will strike about 500,000 times during monsoon months and 32 percent of Arizona’s yearly rain totals come between June 15th to September 30th each year.

For your A/C units, dust, rain and wind facts are not so welcoming. An air conditioning system’s two biggest enemies are heat and dust. The same way a sudden monsoon storm covers your car with dirt and debris, it also blankets your AC unit condenser coil and air filters, blocking a steady airflow. When your outdoor unit coils get covered with dust, they can’t aid in exhausting heat. Not only does this decrease performance and efficiency, it can cause the equipment to struggle and result in damage to your systems. The filter photos attached illustrate the issues we see on a daily basis during monsoon season.

All air conditioner manufacturers recommend cleaning your coils four times a year and, during our harsh summer conditions, it’s important to observe filters every 60 – 90 days. Doing so will ensure that your AC units are ready to weather the storms and not leave you in the heat with costly repairs.

Call Alpha & Omega Restaurant Equipment Repair today for a consultation on all your existing systems. We can create a custom preventative maintenance program for your property that includes scheduled routine tune ups and maintenance inspections to help identify any potential problems before they occur. Together we’ll keep your dining rooms cool and your clients happy.

Preventative Maintenance Helps Prevent Equipment Failure

Preventive maintenance is a schedule of planned maintenance actions aimed at the prevention of breakdowns and failures. The primary goal of preventive maintenance is to prevent the failure of equipment before it actually occurs. It is designed to preserve and enhance equipment reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail. Preventive maintenance activities include equipment checks, partial or complete overhauls at specified periods, oil changes, lubrication and so on. In addition, workers can record equipment deterioration so they know to replace or repair worn parts before they cause system failure. Recent technological advances in tools for inspection and diagnosis have enabled even more accurate and effective equipment maintenance. The ideal preventive maintenance program would prevent all equipment failure before it occurs.

Call Alpha & Omega Restaurant Equipment Repair today for your personalized Preventive Maintenance Program.
